Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of modern chic and a little noise, but it didn't bother me much as I was excited about visiting The Getty and the comedy store. The location was perfect for my plans that day, being so close to both attractions.
I chose this hotel because of its proximity to The Getty and the comedy store on my agenda for the day and evening. The rooms had tired-old furniture, old televisions, and a very limited and expensive dining selection. The service was outstanding, with staff that looked and felt new and were passionate and friendly. The location was not ideal, as it was small and almost entirely hidden from the sun, but it had easy access to the freeway and was close to the UCLA Campus. The dining experience was busy and slow, forcing me to walk out for breakfast daily, and the facilities inside the property left much to be desired. Despite these drawbacks, the staff made up for it with top-notch service.
The hotel's rooms, despite a small size, are comfortable and well-appointed, reflecting a luxurious feel depicted in pictures. Although my room wasn't ready upon arrival, I was compensated for the inconvenience. The service was exceptional, especially during the ongoing construction, and the location was perfect for exploring the city's attractions. However, dining options were overpriced, and spa services were challenging to book online.
The hotel had large, clean rooms, which were comfortable but slightly musty. The noise level was manageable, not too distracting. The service was a mix of very helpful and friendly staff alongside some who seemed annoyed. The location was ideal, close to Westwood and Beverly Hills, avoiding traffic with manageable construction nearby. The dining experience varied from excellent to rushed. Overall, a decent value for the facilities offered.
